Lips
For stunning cosmetic lip tattoos, you’re in expert hands.
Our range of pigments offer clients a great selection for bespoke shades to achieve your desired results. Ewelina, an award-winning Linergist will map out your lip shape, working with your natural shape and outline to provide definition. Your lip colour will initially be brighter and then fade to a more subtle shade.
The result- a natural yet enhanced look, and no need to apply lipstick daily.
The semi-permanent make-up process is completed over two sessions:
Session 1
Approximately three hours long – the shape will be mapped and agreed upon and the colour will be chosen before the pigment is applied.
Great care and precision will be taken during the mapping and application process to ensure the most flawless results possible.
Session 1
4-8 weeks after the initial application, you’ll return to the clinic for additional pigment to be added. This will complete your SPMU treatment.
Cosmetic tattoos are expected to have a degree of fading over time as they are applied superficially to give the most natural appearance. The amount of fading varies person to person. Top up appointments are recommended and available anywhere between six months and two years after your initial application.
(Top up appointments are charged separately)
FAQs
Semi permanent makeup lip tattoos are a permanent treatment – hence its other name, cosmetic tattoo. The applied pigment will fade over time but will never completely disappear, so to keep colour density and shape, colour boosts are required. Most people opt for a colour boost 12 months after their initial treatment.
If you have existing cosmetic lip tattoos, it’s important to mention this at the time of booking your consultation – particularly if this has been applied by another artist.
Every client and tattoo is unique, so Ewelina will need to assess your existing SPMU to determine how best to proceed.
If you require laser removal before new permanent make-up can be applied, we work closely with one of the most experienced specialists in laser cosmetic tattoo removal in the UK – Bianco Beauty – who can consult you on safe removal.
Yes! We have treated some clients who have mixed pigments in their natural lip colour which they would like to neutralise or camouflage to give a uniform lip colour. Ewelina will work carefully to colour match your natural shade and neutralise the unwanted pigment, leaving you with more even toned, gorgeous lips.
During your consultation, pre-care and aftercare will be explained to you carefully, you will also receive a leaflet with all of the information you need to follow – such as avoiding caffeine before your treatment.
